Andreas Voniatis, the Founder of Artios and author of Data-Driven SEO, took centre stage as one of the first guests, sharing his insights and experiences. He shared his wealth of experience, detailing how he helped startups in achieving high growth through data-driven SEO.

He also shed light on the future prospects and challenges for SEO professionals coming in 2024. Other speakers in the podcast included SEO specialists and developers, including Austine Esezobor, Niki Ranger, Anna Uss, and Alex Tachalovan. Here are the most important questions and answers from the podcast.

What’s The Best SEO Tip for 2024?

This was the first question of the podcast, and the panel of experts covered diverse strategies. We can’t possibly write about them all, but here are some of the key take-home points that were touched upon.

  • Build a Strong Brand Entity: Emphasize the importance of being a recognised brand, as it is considered a significant ranking factor. Answering the question, Alex said “Being a brand is the biggest ranking factor”.
  • Use Python String Matching Libraries: Improve site architecture by employing Python string matching libraries to enhance reliability and reduce soft 404 errors in redirects. Andreas: “Try and match content within the site architecture”.
  • Implement Strategic Internal Linking: Prioritise internal linking as a strategic approach, ensuring consistency and awareness within the internal team about promoted pages. “Approaching it (link building) as a strategy”.
  • Adopt an Eccentric Approach with E-A-T: Start the SEO strategy with a focus on E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) to ensure high-quality content and set up the entire campaign for success. Ed: “Every piece of content that has E-A-T applied to it will be of higher quality”.
  • Leverage Natural Language Processing (NLP): Use NLP, specifically BERT, to understand user intent on a deeper level, providing more accurate and relevant search results. Nik explained that even “Google has been using BERT”.
  • Become an Entity for Google: Eliminate uncertainty by becoming a recognised entity for Google, ensuring a clear understanding of who you are, what you do, and your target. “Figure out how you can make Google understand who you are, what you do, and your target”.
  • Use Analytics and Data: Use analytics tools and data analysis to improve SEO, including checking engagement rates, building data silos, and employing various tools like Microsoft Clarity for insights. Christo: “Build silos of data and analyse them to address user intent and improve engagement”.

These tips collectively covered brand building, technical optimisations, content strategies, and data-driven insights for a comprehensive approach to SEO in 2024 that you can start to implement.

Will Chatbots Surpass The Popularity of Python Scripts?

When Andreas was queried about the potential dominance of chatbots over Python scripts in SEO for 2024, he provided a nuanced perspective. He stated, “I don’t really see it as an ‘instead of’… It’s not really instead of, but it’s a real complement”.

Andreas elaborated that, in his view, Python scripts won’t be replaced; instead, they will act as a crucial complement to chatbots. He explained that Python scripts are instrumental in building data pipelines, and their interaction with chatbots or language models like ChatGPT is more collaborative.

Andreas suggested, “Python will probably be a glue to a lot of ChatGPT applications if anything”. This insight emphasises the synergistic relationship between Python and chatbots, highlighting their combined utility in the evolving landscape of SEO.
