Some Context.

Checkstep is a B2B AI content moderation SAAS startup enabling websites across sectors including dating and marketplaces to reliably scale the clean up of abusive content within their communities.

Challenge.

Checkstep had some basic content discovery issues, content teams writing numerous blog guides that we underperforming and lacked domain authority.

Most of their non-brand search traffic was for their staff, rather than the SAAS solutions they wanted to be visible for, such as content moderation services.

What We Did.

  1. Conducted a data-driven competitor SEO landscape audit to identify the gaps in the different areas of SEO to avoid wasting months fixing things that would have no meaningful traffic impact.
  2. Technical site auditing with assisted implementation to make the content more discoverable.
  3. Optimised content using AI to inject more of the language their target audiences would actually use.
  4. Using set mathematics we found the content Google considered essential content for a brand operating within the surrounding ‘content moderation’ search space, and used data science to determine how each piece should be created and optimised. This help brief the writers on creating and publishing the content.
  5. Created Digital PR content and conducted outreach to increase domain authority.
