Vibe Marketing Statistics: US 2026

Share

While visibility is crucial, how your brand makes audiences feel is essential, too. Enter vibe marketing. Vibe marketing, combined with Global Enterprise Optimization (GEO), allows startups and scaleups to ensure their brand is seen and experienced in the right context, across the right channels, and for the right audience. GEO ensures your content appears where it matters most, while vibe marketing sets the tone, guiding AI tools to deliver campaigns that resonate with your audience.

The concept of vibe marketing draws inspiration from vibe coding, a term introduced by Andrej Karpathy in early 2025. In software development, vibe coding involves specifying the intended outcome of an application and letting AI handle the technical execution. In marketing, the principle is similar. You outline your goal, target audience, and desired tone, and generative AI constructs the campaign framework. Tasks that once required weeks of coordination across multiple teams can now be completed in a matter of hours.

With vibe marketing, rather than executing every detail manually, marketers take on the role of a creative director, guiding the vision, refining ideas, and launching campaigns with agility. This allows them to focus on the brand’s “vibe” while AI manages the operational complexity.

To find out what 539,879 opinions of startup or scaleup leaders in the US were about vibe marketing, we utilized AI-driven audience profiling to synthesize insights from online discussions for 12 months, ending on March 28th, 2026, to a high statistical confidence level. These opinions reveal how startup and scaleup leaders perceive the impact of vibe marketing and which strategies drive measurable results.

82% of startup or scaleup leaders say that MarketingProfs is worth considering for vibe marketing or marketing insights

Understandably, then, our audience of startup or scaleup leaders all recommend this educational resource to some degree.

18% highly recommend MarketingProfs as a vibe marketing or marketing insights provider, while 82% say it’s worth considering. Its mix of expert-led training and actionable insights clearly makes it a trusted choice for leaders who want to elevate and accelerate their marketing strategy.

What Is the Primary Goal of Startup Or Scaleup Leaders’ Vibe Marketing Strategy?

91% of startup or scaleup leaders say that the primary goal of their vibe marketing strategy is to increase audience engagement

One goal leads by leaps and bounds:

With 91% of startup or scaleup leaders agreeing that the primary goal of their vibe marketing strategy is to increase audience engagement, it’s abundantly obvious where priorities lie. When you consider how powerful engagement is and how it implies retention, it makes sense that there is such a strong drive to maximize its potential. High engagement signals that your content resonates, encourages meaningful interactions, and fosters loyalty, which ultimately drives conversions and long-term growth. Leaders recognize that without engagement, even the best campaigns can fall flat, making this metric a key indicator of marketing effectiveness.

In contrast, strengthening brand authenticity is only a top priority for 8% of our audience, and just 1% say that it’s a less important goal. This reveals that authenticity is often seen as a baseline expectation rather than a differentiator. For many leaders, being authentic is assumed, but it is engagement that proves whether that authenticity is actually connecting and delivering the desired results in practice. In other words, authenticity alone does not guarantee impact; it is the measurable interactions, shares, comments, and repeat engagement that validate a brand’s messaging and build trust over time. By focusing on engagement, leaders can ensure that their authentic voice is present, persuasive, and influential within their target audience.

How Do Startup Or Scaleup Leaders Typically Discover New Vibe Marketing Insights and Trends?

Social media discussions are where 97% of startup or scaleup leaders typically discover new vibe marketing insights and trends

Social media leads the way as an information source:

Social media has changed the way we find information, and in the US, it has overtaken traditional media to become the main source of news. According to the Reuters Institute Digital News Report, in 2025, 54% of US citizens get their news from sources like YouTube, Facebook, X, and TikTok, while TV  accounts for 50% and news sites and apps 48%. This shift highlights the growing influence of platforms where content is not only consumed but also shared, discussed, and amplified in real time, making them critical touchpoints for marketing insights and industry trends.

This aligns with where our audience typically discovers new vibe marketing insights and trends, with 97% of startup or scaleup leaders saying they rely on social media discussions.

Only 3% say that they get recommendations from peers, emphasizing that peer-to-peer influence is surprisingly minimal compared to the curated, algorithm-driven content that social platforms provide. Leaders are clearly prioritizing speed, diversity of viewpoints, and trending conversations over traditional recommendations, which reminds marketers that there’s a need to maintain an active, engaging social presence where these insights are shared.

Which Channels Do Startup Or Scaleup Leaders Rely on Most to Access Vibe Marketing Insights?

22% of startup or scaleup leaders say that online communities are their primary source for accessing vibe marketing insights

Online communities remain the most reliable sources of insights:

Online communities evidently play a major role in vibe marketing insights, and MarketingProfs is one such example of this. For our audience, these communities are what they rely on the most for access to vibe marketing insights, with 22% saying they are their primary source, 15% agreeing they rely on it, and 3% saying they use them sometimes. Just 1% of startup or scaleup leaders in the US say they don’t rely on online communities, meaning they prefer to source their insights elsewhere.

LinkedIn posts and articles are a primary source of insights for 16% of our audience, and 4% rely on this platform. Research shows that the United States has the most LinkedIn members; however, it is not known how many are active every day or every month,  which may explain the lower numbers. Industry publications also prove to be  reliable sources of vibe marketing insights, with 2% saying that it’s their primary source, 17% that they rely on it, and another 17% saying they use it sometimes. Only 3% say they don’t rely on these publications.

Interestingly, marketing analytics platforms are relied on by less than 1%, proving that startup and scaleup leaders prioritize community-driven insights and peer recommendations over purely data-driven sources when it comes to vibe marketing. This reinforces the value of shared experiences, practical advice, and real-world examples over analytics alone.

Which Sources Increase Startup Or Scaleup Leaders’ Trust in Vibe Marketing Insights the Most?

For 68% of startup or scaleup leaders, established industry publications add some trust in vibe marketing insights

Trust is placed in one main area:

Industry publications may have been second to online communities regarding which channels startup or scaleup leaders relied on most for vibe marketing insights, but when it comes to which sources increase their trust in these insights, they come out on top. 13% say that established industry publications are most trustworthy, and a whopping 68% say they add some trust.

However, 14% do say that they are not very convincing, and 2% that they don’t build trust, suggesting that while industry publications are generally seen as credible, their impact on trust can vary depending on the source, relevance, and perceived expertise behind the content.

Despite studies showing that peer recommendations are highly valued  and that 88% of consumers trust recommendations from friends and family over any other type of advertising, our audience doesn’t see them as something that increases trust in vibe marketing insights.

Just 1% say they are most trustworthy, and another 1% that they add some trust. Beyond this, consulting firm reports and analytics platforms get  even less than 1% overall, showing that, for startup and scaleup leaders, formal reports and data-heavy sources are far less influential in shaping trust compared with industry publications and community-driven channels.

How Do Startup Or Scaleup Leaders Prefer to Receive Vibe Marketing Insights?

86% of startup or scaleup leaders prefer to receive vibe marketing insights via email newsletter and visual infographics

Preferences for insights are closely tied:

Tied with 43% each, our audience’s preferences are largely divided by whether they prefer to receive vibe marketing sights via email newsletters or visual infographics. For years, email marketing has been ahead of the pack, and while HubSpot recently found that Facebook and LinkedIn were the preferred platforms for sharing content by 52%, 42% still preferred traditional emails. This aligns almost exactly with our findings.

Live presentations or webinars also got a mention, with 14% of opinions saying this was how startup or scaleup leaders preferred to receive their vibe marketing insights. Since 2020, this format has grown in popularity as leaders seek more interactive, real-time engagement, the opportunity to ask questions, network, and gain deeper context on emerging trends and insights.

Combined, the data shows that while digital distribution remains dominant, there is a clear appetite for formats that combine accessibility with interactivity, allowing leaders to engage with insights in ways that best suit their workflow and decision-making needs.

Which Type of Vibe Marketing Insight Do Startup Or Scaleup Leaders Find Most Valuable for Decision Making?

80% of startup or scaleup leaders say that market trends insights are valuable for marketing decision-making

Marketing decision-making has a main driver:

Startup and scaleup leaders place a high value on market trends insights when making marketing decisions, with 80% citing them as critical for informing strategy. This percentage is split into 25% of opinions that say they are extremely valuable, 55% who say they are somewhat valuable, and 6% who say they’re not very valuable. 9% do say they are not valuable at all for decision-making, which may indicate they are not yet utilizing them in their strategies.

This aligns with research on modern marketing decision-making, which highlights the importance of continuously gathering and interpreting market data to guide agile, context-driven choices. According to a study published in the Journal of Business Research, effective marketing decisions increasingly rely on monitoring external signals and trends to adapt strategies in dynamic environments. In this context, market trend insights are both informative and essential for ensuring that vibe marketing efforts resonate with the target audience and respond to evolving market conditions.

The remaining 2% of opinions are split between campaign performance insights and competitor activity insights, with the audience saying that they find market trends insights extremely valuable for decision-making. This minority suggests that while most startup and scaleup leaders prioritize broad market trends, a small segment sees real-time campaign performance and competitor intelligence as equally crucial inputs, highlighting that actionable, context-specific insights can complement trend analysis in shaping effective marketing strategies.

What Role Does Vibe Marketing Insight Play in Startup Or Scaleup Leaders’ Campaign Planning?

22% of startup or scaleup leaders say vibe marketing insights are helpful for creative direction in campaign planning

Vibe marketing insight plays several integral roles in campaign planning:

Recent industry research highlights how vibe marketing is transforming campaign planning by helping marketers build deeper emotional connections with audiences. According to eMarketer, marketers are increasingly turning to vibe marketing as a way to extend their capabilities with AI, using these tools not just for automation but to create emotive, audience‑centric experiences that go beyond traditional tactics. For our audience of startup and scaleup leaders, vibe marketing insight plays a few different roles in campaign planning.

10% say it’s helpful for creative direction, 12% that it’s quite important, and 3% that it plays a somewhat minor role. Those who say it’s important for major campaign decisions number 26% overall, with 6% who say it’s absolutely essential, 15% quite important, and 5% somewhat minor, with fewer than 1% saying it’s not important at all.

Next up are those who say they use these insights occasionally for reference, with 2% saying they are absolutely essential, another 2% saying they are somewhat minor, and 19% agreeing they are quite important.  Lastly, 13% say vibe marketing insight is quite important, and another 10% agree it’s somewhat minor. Just 2% say that it’s not important in this respect at all.

This shows that vibe marketing insights are widely valued by startup and scaleup leaders in guiding campaign planning. While the level of reliance varies, most see these insights as important for creative direction, major decisions, and occasional reference, with only a small minority considering them unimportant.

Which Part of Startup Or Scaleup Leaders’ Marketing Strategy Benefits Most from Vibe Marketing Insights?

43% of startup or scaleup leaders say that campaign optimization benefits the most from vibe marketing insights

The benefits are clear:

Campaign optimization is where the startup and scallop leaders in our audience see the biggest benefits in their marketing strategies from vibe marketing insights. 23% say it’s most impactful here, 20% that it’s quite helpful, and 5% somewhat useful. However, there is 4% that says it’s not beneficial in this area of their marketing strategy, but this may be because it is not being utilized to its full effect.

Next are those who agree that brand messaging is most impactful (22%), quite helpful (17%), and somewhat useful(4%), yet another 4% say it’s not beneficial here, perhaps because it’s not implemented as yet. Strong brand messaging taps into key psychological forces, helping brands form deep connections with their audiences. As highlighted by Marketermin, understanding the psychology behind messaging allows marketers to create campaigns that resonate emotionally, reinforcing engagement and trust, and anything that benefits this or makes it easier to achieve is hugely valuable.

Interestingly, content strategy and audience targeting each garnered below 1% of opinions, suggesting that while they remain important tactical elements, startup and scaleup leaders perceive the greatest value from vibe marketing insights in areas that directly impact campaign performance and brand resonance. This emphasizes that insights are most prized when they help optimize execution and messaging, driving measurable engagement and stronger connections with target audiences.

How Do Startup Or Scaleup Leaders Validate Vibe Marketing Insights Before Applying Them to Strategy?

35% of startup or scaleup leaders validate vibe marketing insights before applying them to strategy by reviewing research methodology

Validation comes from different sources:

Validating insights before applying them to a strategy is crucial, as misinformation can derail campaigns and cause a ripple effect of damage. For startup and scaleup leaders who need to validate vibe marketing insights, there are three main ways of doing so.

35% say they review research methodology, followed by 34% who cross-check multiple sources,  and 30% who compare with internal data. These similarities in these numbers indicate that leaders take a balanced, multi-pronged approach to validation, combining external verification with internal checks to ensure insights are reliable, relevant, and actionable before integrating them into marketing strategies.

At the other end of the scale are the 1% who consult with industry experts and another 1% who trust established analytics platforms, revealing a minor but important reliance on specialized expertise and advanced tools to supplement their own validation processes.

Which Type of Platform Do Startup Or Scaleup Leaders Use to Analyze Vibe Marketing Data?

25% of startup or scaleup leaders say that marketing software platforms are their top choice for analyzing vibe marketing data

Analyzing data is done in a few different ways:

Analyzing vibe marketing data is crucial for creating campaigns that perform at their best, and our audience uses a few different platform types to do this. Overall, opinions are neatly divided into 25% per platform type,  but the opinions on preferences differ in these percentages.

The top choice is marketing software platforms, with a full 25% citing this, followed by consulting or agency reports with 22% saying this is their top choice, and 3% saying it’s a good option. Consulting reports provide a rich source of insights, allowing leaders to cross-reference data such as email campaigns and web analytics to uncover high-converting CTAs or identify content strategy missteps before they escalate.

Next up is paid analytics platforms, with 22% saying it’s their top choice, but 3% of startup or scaleup leaders say it’s not their preference, indicating they utilize other platforms than those mentioned.

Internal company dashboards come in last with 8% saying they are a good option. However, 17% say they would not use this as a platform to analyze vibe marketing data, likely because internal dashboards may lack the specialized features, external benchmarking, or AI-driven insights that dedicated marketing software, analytics tools, and consulting reports provide.

These statistics suggest that startup and scaleup leaders prioritize platforms that provide specialized insights, benchmarking, and AI-driven analysis over basic internal dashboards. The split reflects both the diversity of available tools and the varying needs of companies at different stages of growth.

By presenting trends visually, marketers can quickly identify opportunities, anticipate shifts in audience behavior, and make informed decisions that drive engagement and growth. According to Deloitte, effective data visualization improves comprehension while enhancing decision-making by giving data greater meaning and context. For vibe marketing, this means leaders can see how campaigns resonate, spot emerging trends, and adjust strategies in real time.

The remaining audience says that the visual presentation of vibe marketing data is very important (1%) and extremely important (1%) for understanding trends, indicating that while nearly all leaders value visual presentation to some degree, only a small segment sees it as critical.
